Neuromodulators, such as Botox, correct unwanted expression lines on your face. If you’re concerned about crow’s feet, forehead lines, or frown lines between the eyebrows, you might be the ideal candidate for neuromodulators. With neuromodulators, a few carefully-placed injections can soften your facial lines and restore your youthful vitality and sparkle.
Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau
Botox is undoubtedly the most popular neuromodulator. But it’s not your only option. We carry a wide range of effective neuromodulators, including Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau. All neuromodulators carry the same primary ingredient (botulinum toxin type A), but they have slight differences in formulations, making them suitable for different situations.
Xeomin, for example, is unique because of its naked formulation — it doesn’t contain most of the protein additives used in other neuromodulators. Xeomin’s naked formulation prevents your body from developing a tolerance to the treatment, making it suitable for patients who’ve developed a tolerance to Botox, Dysport, or Jeuveau.
We select the ideal neuromodulatior after a careful evaluation of your goals and desires.

What Causes Wrinkles?
Dynamic wrinkles, also known as expression lines, occur when you convey emotions, such as laughing, frowning, and smiling. When you’re young, the dynamic wrinkles only appear while communicating emotions. However, the overuse of facial muscles deepens the lines, making them stay on your face even at rest. Over time, your dynamic wrinkles become static.
How Does Botox Correct Wrinkles?
Botox-type injectables are made of botulinum toxin type A, an ingredient that blocks the transmission of signals between nerve endings and targeted muscles. When injected carefully, they temporarily relax the muscles responsible for your dynamic wrinkles, thereby softening the unwanted expression lines. With early intervention, neuromodulators can also prevent or delay the onset of wrinkles.
We provide carefully calibrated doses to soften the wrinkles without “freezing” or other unnatural results with neuromodulators.
Botox for Excessive Sweating and Migraines
Botox-type injectables have a wide range of benefits beyond correcting wrinkles. Botox is also used to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), migraines, jaw pains, and other conditions. When it comes to migraine treatment, Botox blocks the neurotransmitters that carry pain signals to your brain, minimizing the onset of migraine attacks.
Hyperhidrosis is a condition wherein you sweat constantly even if it isn’t particularly hot and you’re not exercising. This usually happens due to overactive sweat glands. Botox blocks the chemical that activates the sweat ducts responsible for excessive sweating, thereby treating hyperhidrosis. The results from Botox treatment last for 4 to 6 months.

Neuromodulators vs. Fillers
Dermal fillers correct fine lines and restore facial volume. They’re composed of hyaluronic acid or other components that stimulate collagen, one of the foundational elements of the skin. As such, dermal fillers literally “fill” the fine lines, depressions, and scars with volume.
Neuromodulators correct dynamic wrinkles caused by the overuse of facial muscles. They’re composed of a neurotoxin protein that temporarily relaxes muscles, thereby softening the associated expression lines. As such, neuromodulators and fillers are used for different situations and goals.
Your Botox Consultation, Treatment, and Recovery
Your neuromodulator treatment starts with a private consultation with our cosmetic providers, Dr. Nily Abramovitz and Dr. Alla Agamov. During your consultation, Drs. A&A examine your facial skin, discuss your concerns and goals, and review your medical history in a relaxing environment. Based on their evaluation, they recommend the ideal neuromodulator for you — Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, or Xeomin.
During your treatment, the cosmetic provider cleanses your facial skin and applies a numbing gel to ensure comfort. The chosen neuromodulator is carefully injected into strategically chosen locations on your face. The dosage is also calibrated according to your specific needs, ensuring natural results that betray no signs of cosmetic manipulation. The number of injections depends on your goals.
The entire procedure concludes within 15 to 30 minutes, following which the cosmetic provider discusses aftercare guidelines. You may experience mild redness, itching, swelling, and irritation around the treatment areas for a few days. You should also keep your head elevated for a few hours, but you can resume most of your daily activities and work immediately. Botox doesn’t involve downtime.
The results will gradually start appearing in 2 to 3 days, with continued improvements for 2 weeks. The final results last for 3 to 4 months, following which you’ll need maintenance treatments.
